Job Purpose
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop issues for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repairs for remote users as needed.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products to deliver the required service levels for desktop systems.
- Build, install, and test custom configurations based on various platforms and operating systems.
- Collaborate with members of the IT team to ensure the efficient operation of the organization’s desktop computing environment.
- When necessary, manage and troubleshoot issues with end-user network software products for workstations.
- Ensure that desktop connections—i.e., network jacks—are functioning properly.
- Set up tests and applications to monitor desktop performance, then provide performance statistics and reports.
Skills and Attributes Required
- Academic studies related to IT.
- Profesional experience in similiar position.
- High level of English and Spanish proficiency.
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to travel for business purposes.
