Reports to:

Technical Manager & Perfumer

Job Purpose:

Provide support in conducting fragrance and raw material testing for detergent, air freshener, and cosmetic products, and be responsible for assisting in the preparation of fragrance-free CPL bases for product evaluation.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

Assist with Testing and Evaluation:

  • Provide support in conducting tests on fragrances and raw materials in detergent, home fragrance, and cosmetic products.
  • Assist in evaluating the performance and stability of fragrances in different bases.
  • Assist in planning and conducting stability, performance, and panel tests.
  • Assist in compiling results for the preparation of stability and performance reports.

 

Support in project development:

  • Support all phases of project development from the laboratory’s perspective, ensuring that the fragrance meets the intended purpose and customer expectations.

 

Manage documentation and follow-up:

  • Accurately record all information and keep it available to the team.
  • Assist in monitoring tests, including olfactory evaluation and recording stability test results.

Skills and Attributes Required:

Required skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, both as part of a team and independently.
  • Time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to record all data accurately.

 

Education

  • Degree in laboratory analysis, quality control, chemistry, or an equivalent field

 

Profesional experience

  • Professional experience in a similar position (1 year).

 

Other skills and requirements

  • Upper-intermediate level of English (B1-B2).
  • Advanced level of Spanish (C1-C2).
  • Good computer skills—Microsoft Office.
  • Valid work and residence permit in Spain.
