Job Purpose
General Manager and Rotation Department Manager
Reports to:
The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure across key business functions within the organisation, enabling Trainee to develop a comprehensive understanding of the fragrance industry from creation and sourcing to manufacturing, marketing, sales, and customer engagement.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Participate in structured rotations across key business functions including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, and Fragrance Development.
- Assist in special projects as directed by the GM, including research, data analysis, and project coordination.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency within the role and the broader organization.
- Support day-to-day business activities and projects within assigned functions.
- Support the execution of customer, commercial, operational, and administrative activities.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to solve business challenges and drive process efficiencies.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management review and decision-making.
- Maintain a database of customer interactions and ensure timely follow-up on all customer communications.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the fragrance industry.
- Demonstrate agility, innovation, and a continuous improvement mindset while delivering assigned project outcomes.
- Present project findings and business recommendations to senior leadership at the end of each rotation or program milestone.
Skills and Attributes Required
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree from a reputed institution.
- Specializations in Science, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities.
- Learning agility, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
