Preparation of samples and perform laboratory activities

Preparation of fragrance samples

Assist Sales Managers, Business Development Managers and Sales Director to prepare fragrance submissions based on project briefs.
To prepare in various finished product applications as requested by customers.
To prepare samples for customers in line with more and more fragrance raw material ban by EU/GCC/ACD Regulation.
Prepare fragrance samples for QC library requested by Pulau Indah factory.

Manage Fragrance Library

Replenish expired fragrances and ensure stocks are always adequate.
Ensure solvents, sampling bottles, smelling strips, blotters, bottle labels, beakers, plastic bags, pipets are always adequate.
To replenish unperfumed bulks from CPLHK and ensure they are within expiry date.
Collate all new fragrances for Business Development Managers to present to Sales Team 1st week of each month.
Ensure fragrances no longer in compliance with EU/GCC/ACD Regulations eg with lyral, lilial contents are segregated
Laboratory is clean end of each working day and fragrances used are placed back to respective shelves according to categories.

Manage Laboratory Activities

Waste oil and recyclable materials are disposed off in correct manner as per ISO guideline.
All equipment ie viscometer, weighing scales, oven are in good condition and calibrated either internally or by external party.

Support Evaluator

in evaluation of fragrances in finished product before new submitting to customers (compatibility check).
in evaluation of fragrances in customers’ base when complaint arises (trouble shooting).
Stability tests in oven and UV box
