Job Purpose
To support members of the CPL India Division Sales Team, in all areas of their commercial activities with any tasks related to the business development and the sales growth of the division.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Communication
- Display excellent communication skills, both orally and in written format in emails
- Handle internal enquiries via telephone & email
- Be thorough and clear in all communication
- Pay great attention to detail
General Duties
- Support the Account/Sales Manager in all areas of their commercial activities
- Handle with customer enquiries and requests via telephone/email
- Raise sample requests and send samples to the customers or contract manufacturers
- Work closely with internal departments across different functions
- Work closely with the Customer Service Dpt during order processing
- Organise presentations and quote letters
- Keep customer records, pricing and requirements up-to-date
- Support the Account/Sales Manager with customer complaints – internally & externally
- Work with Microsoft Office and Product Vision to manage projects and administrative tasks
- Support the Account/Sales Manager organising and co-ordinating customer meetings
- Support the Account/Sales Manager in managing Regulatory enquiries (documents, specific enquiries)
Project Management
- Enter and follow-up on fragrance projects efficiently to ensure deadlines are met
- Work closely with the lab to organise submissions and samples
- Prepare and ship submissions to customers
- Prepare and communicate quotations to customers
- Prepare submission presentations
House Account Management
- End to end ownership of house account management of small accounts – handle enquires, access potential,work closely with client on quote and prices according to the divisional margin targets
- Troubleshoot customer complaints with QC & Technical as needed
- Support finance in adequate cash collection from customers
Conduct
- Adhere to all CPL policies and procedures, including quality, health, safety and environmental policies.
