Job Purpose
In this role you are responsible to carry out assigned production processes in accordance with established procedures.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Weigh and mix aromatic oils and chemicals to a predetermined formulation, strictly following a pre-determined formulation and in accordance to company procedures;
- Highlighting any problems encountered during the compounding process;
- Ensure drums are labelled correctly;
- Adhere to company Compounding & Health & Safety procedures, along with procedures specific to certain raw materials;
- Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy. To ensure all equipment to be used is clean and dry;
- Communicate any dangers in the work place to the appropriate person;
- Additional duties as directed by the Team Leader.
Skills and Attributes Required
- 1 year working experience in manufacturing setting;
- Good communication skills ;
- Pro-active approach to working;
- Previous experience of weighing and working with hazardous liquids - Advantageous, but training would be provided;
- Able to work efficiently and effectively with attention to detail, even when under pressure;
- Good time management.
