Job Purpose
This is a temporary role.
Purpose is to co-ordinate the in-house programme of matching new Global Fine Fragrance launches and provide marketing support for fine fragrance insight and UKS marketing
Tasks and Responsibilities
Fine Fragrance Coordination
- Monitor all Global Fine Fragrance launches and ensure samples are obtained at the earliest available opportunity.
- In combination with all CPL Divisions, co-ordinate which Fine Fragrance launches are going to be matched, agreeing priorities and resource allocation.
- Distribution of fine fragrance samples to different CPL divisions.
- Responsible for issuing the weekly analytical matching project list along with which new Fine Fragrances are due for launch soon.
- Be responsible for ensuring we always have suitable stocks of market Fine Fragrances available for customer presentations.
- Manage the Fine Fragrance Forum to get all the necessary information required for inclusion into the Quarterly update.
- Assist in preparing and presenting the Quarterly Fine Fragrance Review, fine fragrance insight/ trend presentations and circulating product launch awareness emails.
- Supporting the Marketing team to ensure CPL’s Fine Fragrance portfolio is kept up to date, as well as external fragrance databases.
- Organising evaluation sessions of new launches.
- Visit London retail stores to source new launches. Arrange quarterly store visits with colleagues to assess and evaluate new launches.
- Support the team to analyse and identify current Fine Fragrance trends and predict future trends.
UKS Marketing support
- To develop excellent presentations to inspire both internal and external customers in the UKS division.
- Provide inspiration and innovative thinking to develop relevant concepts/insights and support new winning fragrance creations.
- Support on ad-hoc customer requests
Skills and Attributes Required
- Knowledge of the Fine Fragrance market, or willingness to learn.
- A true passion for fragrances with a good sense of smell.
- Personable, enthusiastic and a team player.
- An ability to work and communicate with all levels of staff, including perfumers, developers, marketers, General Managers and the analytical team. Also, externally to customers.
- An ability to develop research platforms to enable quick identification of new Fine Fragrances launches.
- Open-minded and dynamic to meet evolving business needs.
- Professional written and verbal skills. Fluent in English as a minimum.
- Methodical approach to work and well organised.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally when required.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
