PPD Coordinator

Reports to:

Technical Manager

Job Purpose

To carry out the Product Performance and Stability Testing for the Dubai team. It will entail working on customer projects to ensure our submissions are stable in a relevant base, as well as pro-active work to aid the Dubai team in creating fragrances that are fit for purpose.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Conducting Stability Test of fragrances and/or Raw Materials in a range of consumer products as laid out in projects
• Keeping stock of formulations for Household and Personal Care applications.
• Carry out a variety of testing such titrations, UV tests or viscosity tests, Precipitation Test of Fragrances
• Conduct Performance Testing of fragrances in relevant application
• Ensure  Entering Test results data on our Intranet based system and excel
• Develop Application Base Formulas
• Set up library of preferred bases in the region.
• Do trials/testing on new raw materials to support a raw material addition onto the system.  
• Provides Technical support to Sales, Evaluators, Perfumers and Clients
• Any other tasks as directed by line manager or team member’s program.
• Carry out performance testing for customer projects and internal projects.

Skills and Attributes Required

Qualification requirements

A relevant qualification in chemistry relevant for the fragrance manufacturing industry would be an advantage

At least 2 years’ previous experience in a similar role and/ or, experience of working in a laboratory environment is a requirement

A keen interest in the fragrance industry with some product knowledge would be advantageous

Skills and Knowledge

Able to take a methodical approach to problem solving

Have a good sense of smell, internal smelling test will be conducted by CPL. 

Have a well-developed attention to detail aiming for accuracy

Able to work in a team and independently with the same level of efficiency

Be able to work in an organised way

Ability to use Microsoft office products, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel and internal recording systems (training will be given)
