Job Purpose
This role is for 12 month fixed term.
The person will be responsible for ensuring compliance of our raw material palette. Ensuring accurate data, policies and training for all regulations related to raw materials, chemicals and naturals.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the information stored on each of our raw materials.
- Maintaining the data of CPL raw materials regarding Regulatory, ensuring up to date system information and accuracy in our data
- Supporting addition of new raw materials into CPL palette.
- Completing COSSH assessments of our materials
- Responding to any queries related to our palette
- Completing Buying sample assessments and ensuring these meet the product specifications
- Updating regulatory procedures and policies to ensure group wide consistency
- Manage CPL’s compliance to REACH regulations, advise shortfalls and solutions.
- Implementing IFRA/IOFI labelling updates.
- Supporting RIFM Surveys and answering RIFM questions regarding CPL raw materials.
- Supporting the sustainability team in the assessment of Responsibly Sourced materials.
- Participating with the team to ensure regulatory services through the group.
- Any other function that may be required to fulfil regulatory commitments/filings or data base maintenance of regulatory affairs department.
- Internal training of colleagues when required
Skills and Attributes Required
- Scientific degree would be beneficial
