Job Purpose

To undertake the Production Planning ensuring and demonstrating effective forward planning, that internal/external customer services expectations are met/ offering excellent customer services and all activities are carried out in a safe environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities are carried out according with the production plan including plan, releasing and matching jobs.
  • Ensure all productivity and efficiencies are me through SL/base SS review to minimize repeated batches, and batch bulking where sensible.
  • Monitor raw materials, bases and solutions, ensuring the correct parameters are maintained.
  • Review our Customer stock holding /Finished product stock to not keep aged stock (>12m)
  • Retain a culture of teamwork through involvement and development of team members.
  • Supporting our colleagues with optimizing D365, to maximize its key functions.
  • Supporting the CS teams where necessary on Sales Order parameters, and managing costs associated with changes, inefficient pack formats and storage.

Skills and Attributes Required

Qualification

At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in FMCG doing a similar role

Experience in the fragrance industry with excellent product knowledge would be a great advantage

Professional and articulate with colleagues, at all times.

Superior attention to detail

Proven problem-solving skills to ensure production plans are successfully achieved on time

Understanding of operational processes from end to end.

Computer literate and skilled in using Office 365 with a reliable knowledge and experience working on D365 or other similar MRP system.

Well-developed ability in planning and organizing.

Fast development building knowledge and experience of the products we work with

Have good people management ability

Ability to apply knowledge and experience when required to provide innovative solutions to complex problems
